Effective date: 2026-07-06. Short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, and we don't need — or want — your personal information to show you a number.
Information we collect
Calculator inputs: the numbers you type (square footage, pitch, material choices) are processed in your browser by JavaScript. They are not transmitted to our servers, stored, or associated with you.
Contact email: if you email us, we receive your address and message. We use them only to reply and to fix reported issues; we don't add you to lists or share your address.
Server logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data — IP address, user agent, requested URL — to serve pages and prevent abuse, subject to its own privacy practices.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Advertising (Google AdSense): we use Google AdSense to display ads on this site. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalized ads; you can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google Ads Settings or, for other participating vendors, via aboutads.info. More detail is in Google's disclosure on how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first measurement tool. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not follow you across sites; it gives us only aggregate page-level metrics.
First-party cookies: we set none of our own. If our own use of cookies or analytics changes, this page will be updated before the change takes effect.
Third-party links
Guides may link to external sources (government data, retailers). Those sites have their own privacy policies; we don't control them and aren't responsible for their practices.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Because we hold no account data about you, there is usually nothing to delete — but questions or requests about this policy can be sent to hello@costcandor.com.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the effective date above.
